Communication between staff is EXTREMELY poor and the worst I have experienced at any hospital. Messages (instructions and needs) frequently do not get through time and time and time again, or are conveyed incorrectly.

We were here for my wife's primary cancer surgery and chemo in 2011 and now again for 5 months after the cancer returned metastatic. We've had nothing but good experiences with the oncology folks, the radiology people & especially the chemo nurses on Thompson ward. They've been awesome and very supportive. My wife has autism and they cope just fine.

This hospital should be avoided at all costs. Not going to detail the disgusting treatment my father received there a year ago, but feel free to PM me if you want details. Needless to say, my father passed away there and there was no doctor on the premises at the time.

Secretary in consulting rooms making fun of a patient with colleagues after getting off the phone. Very unprofessional.

I've docked them one star because of a combination of being hard to park and because the food on Thompson ward doesn't include a gluten free option (my wife is celiac). That said the nurses have been very good in securing fruit for her! ;-)

They do not cope well with anything outside normal procdure, such as a patient who has extra or different needs, due to disability or diet.

Food options are terrible and no thought given to HOW one is to eat food, given the distance you are from food, with bed and table arrangement, and the packaging of food.
